Our Promise to the enviroment
At Red Emerald, we believe in being kind to the environment and therefore we have adopted various methods of communication and record keeping that is environmentally friendly. For example -
»reducing the use of paper by ensuring we communicate electronically where possible,
»converting documents to PDF instead of photocopying them.
»encouraging our staff and clients to reduce car usage by either having conference calls or using public transport.
»storing data electronically.
»scanning invoices and receipts and returning the paper copies or recycling the paper securely.
Daily Communication
We believe in adopting the latest, most cost effective and efficient methods of communication with our clients. The latest communication trends and our preferred methods are email, telephone and text/sms and therefore location of your accountant is no longer an issue. We would obviously write letters where necessary.
Records
In addition, you may be wondering "how do I forward my records to you, cost effectively and securely?". Well the most effective method is normally by email, however if our clients have paper copies then we do provide a special service at no extra cost. We provide free registered pre-paid envelopes to our clients to send their records to us safely and securely within the next 48 hours (subject to Post Office service). Location is therefore no longer an issue.
Meetings
We still believe in meeting our clients face to face at least once a year and more frequently if necessary. Normally our clients come to our offices in High Barnet or we would travel to our their premises, or we would agree to meet at a location convenient to them. We also believe conference calls provide a highly efficient, cost effective and immediate form of "face to face" meeting with our clients.
